The Church of Nuestra Señora de la Victoria es locate at the Llano de la Victoria Square, in Jimena de la Frontera.

Although the exact date on which it was founded is unknown, the bibliography on this temple places it in the 17th century, although there are other documents that show that its construction was much older, since at the end of the 16th century it is cited in a testament to the Convent of Santa Ana as a place that offered masses and burials.

Headquarters of the Church of Misericordia-Santa María la Coronada, the Church and Convent of La Victoria was located on the outskirts of the city, taking advantage of the communication routes to the north that came from Ubrique and Cortes.

In the middle of the 18th century, a series of works and additions were carried out that affected the configuration of the building. At that time, the Church of the Victory had a single nave, without a bell tower, a cloister attached to the wall of the epistle and an orchard located at the back and on the side.

In the 20th century, during the French occupation of the city, few data are available about the transformations and destruction that were made in the temple since they used to occupy the convents and use them as barracks for the troops.

The Church of Nuestra Señora de la Victoria currently has two naves and, although it has been much reformed today, it has a bell tower, a very simple portal and a picturesque patio, adopting its current name in honor of the patron saint of Malaga.
