Albuera de Feria – Buttress Dam
The Albuera de Feria Dam was built in 1747 on the bed of Arroyo Feria, a couple of kilometers from the town of Feria, in the province of Badajoz, region of Extremadura. Apparently its waters were used to power mills built downstream of the dam.
Albuera de Feria Dam is a buttress dam with straight plant with 23,5 meters from foundation and a crest lenght of 149 meters. The dam has 1 spillway and the waters are regulated by gates.
