Altarejos Guaditoca Dam and Reservoir – Guadalcanal
Altarejos Guaditoca Dam was built in 1989 on the bed of the Arroyo Guaditoca, in the Andalusian municipality of Guadalcanal, province of Sevilla, Spain.
Altarejos is a vault dam type with a height from foundations of 20,5 meters and a crest lenght of 69 meters.
The Altarejos Guaditoca Reservoir belong to the Guadalquivir River Basin and has a capacity of 0,947 hm3.

The municipality of Guadalcanal is located in the far north of the province of Sevilla, being adjacent to the Autonomous Community of Extremadura. It belongs to the Sierra Norte region of Sevilla, including part of its term in the natural park of the same name. The village is situated in a valley between the Sierra del Viento (north) and Sierra del Agua (south).
