Aracena Castle

The Kingdom of Portugal built the Aracena Castle in the middle of the 13th century on an old Islamic settlement.

The castle walls, including the towers with square floor plans, flollow the landscape of the hill. On the inside you can still see the remains of the Main Tower, two water cisterns and other rooms.

Château d´Aracena

Le Château d´Aracena est une des fortifications mèdiévales qui s´intègrent á la Bande Gallega, un ensemble de châteaux qui defendainent le territoire de Seville, le château est oeuvre du Portugal suite á la conquéte de Andalousie. Le Château d´Aracena est composé d´une salle d´armes et alcazar, séparés pr une muraille et surpombé de la Torre Mayor.
