Archaeological Museum of Estepona

The Archaeological Museum of Estepona is located in a building built in the 19th century on top of a cistern belonging to a tower from the Muslim period, the former Town Hall of Estepona, a few meters from the Clock Tower, the Castle of San Luis and the Church of the Virgin of the Remedies.

From 1853, the date on which it was acquired by the City Council, it houses the town hall until 2011. The rich heritage that we can admire within its walls comes, on the one hand, from private collections and, on the other, from the archaeological interventions carried out in the last decades.
