Cubilar Dam and Reservoir

Cubilar Dam was built in 1999 on the bed of the Cubilar River, municipality of Logrosan, Caceres, Extremadura, Spain.

Cubilar Dam was built in order to regulate and transfer the contributions of the Cubilar river basin to Sierra Brava Reservoir. Loose materials dam with a channel connecting the Canal de las Dehesas, able to derive a rate of 15 m3/s.

The Dam has a crest lenght of 990 meters, a maximum height of 18 meters and a 57,20 meters lenght spillway.

Cubilar Reservoir belong to the Cuenca Hidrografica del Guadiana and has a capacity of 5,90 hm3.
