Esparragal Dam – Azud – Guadalquivir River Basin

The Esparragal Dam was built on the bed of the Viar River, municipalities of Almaden de la Plata, Cazalla de la Sierra and El Pedroso.

The Esparragal is a compacted concrete dam type with a height from foundations of 23,9 meters and a crest lenght of 383 meters.

The Esparragal Reservoir belong to the Guadalquivir River Basin and has a capacity of 4,770 hm3.
