The Church of Our Lady of the Rosary is just a few minutes of the town of Galaroza in Navahermosa village, along a small cementery.
The church has a nave with transverse arches and vaulted presbytery. Its structure allows dating its its construction in the last third of the sixteenth century.
In the eighteenth century was built the main façade arch framed in the second section, with front and gable decoration made with a highly original carved and molded brick very popular sense.
Galaroza Historical Site
The Historic Complex of Galaroza is located in the province of Huelva, at a distance of 117 km from the capital and 105 km from Seville. The term to which it belongs is located in the central part of the Sierra region and limits to the north with Valdelarco and La Nava, to the south with Castaño del Robledo, to the east with Valdelarco and Fuenteheridos and to the west with Jabugo and La Nava.
Nucleus located on a promontory and on the surrounding slopes, surrounding to the west, north and east, a higher hill, which is crowned by a Hermitage. Only recently have some of its slopes been occupied. The town center is crossed by three roads, being the current main road (N-433) tangent to the nucleus. Its most significant altitudes are: City Hall, 548.0 m.; Church, 558.0 m.; Cerro Sta. Brígida, 622.5 m.; Venice Square, 533.0 m.; Plaza Enrique Ponce, 554.0 m.
