Gargantafria Dam was built on the bed of the Arroyo de la Gargantafria, dam built on the tail of Melonares Reservoir, in the Andalusian municipalities of Almaden de la Plata and Castilblanco de los Arroyos, province of Sevilla, Spain.
Gravity dam type with a height from foundations of 25,880 meters and a crest lenght of 125 meters.
Gargantafria Reservoir belong to the Guadalquivir River Basin and has a capacity of 0,630 hm3.
