Jaime Ozores Guadajira Dam and Reservoir

Jaime Ozores Guadajira Dam was built in 1962 on the bed river Guadajira in the municipality of Feria, Extremadura.

Tributary of the Guadiana, the Guadajira River rises in the Sierras de Feria, to its mouth in the Guadiana river and runs alongside the towns of Feria, Villalba de los Barros, Solana de Barros and Guadajira. The river has a lenght of 73,574 km, its basin covers an area of 895 km2 and receives a natural contributions of 41 hm3.

Gravity dam with straight plant, made with concrete. It has a high from foundations of 29,6 meters and a crest lenght of 157 meters. Central spillway with gates with a lenght of 22 meters and a design flow of 35m3/s.
