Lora del Río – House of the Columns or House of the Virgin (1771)

The House of the Columns or House of the Virgin is located in C/ José Montoto y González Hoyuela (street), just few meters from the Convent of The Clean Conception of Our Lady and the Santa Ana Hermitage, in the monumental center of Lora del Río.

It is an ancient Palace-House of the Montalvo family constructed in the 18th century. It shows up the main front with white marble columns and an extremely beautiful interior court of mixed linear arches and Tuscan columns with Baroque features. This buildin is the see of the Major Brotherhood of Our Lady of “Setefilla”.
