Los Membrillos Dam and Reservoir – Espiel
Los Membrillos Dam was built in 1964 on the bed of the Arroyo de las Cruces, near the Barrranco del Romeral, in the Andalusian municipality of Espiel, Cordoba province, in Andalusia, Spain.
Los Membrillos is a gravity dam type with straight plant, with a height from foundations of 17 meters and a crest lenght of 97 meters.
Los Membrillos Reservoir belong to the Cuenca Hidrográfica del Guadalquivir (Guadalquivir River Basin) and has a capacity of 0,370 hm3.

Espiel – Guadiato Valley
Espiel is a town situated to the north of the province of Cordoba, in the valley of Guadiato ( Embalse de Puente Nuevo or New Bridge Reservoir ), 50 kilometres from the capital.
