Aurora Chapel – Luque
The Aurora Chapel is located in the historical center of the town of Luque, between the Chapel of St. Nicholas of Tolentino, the Civil Clock Tower and the Plaza de España, where the mayestic Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asuncion of Luque.
The Aurora Chapel is characterized by a simple cover with the key arch that serves as highlighted access.
Its interior has a single nave with a barrel vault lowered and divided by arches resting on pilasters cajeadas Doric.
The last section of the ship, for the presbytery, covered with hemispherical cap supported by pendentives. Behind the chapel of square plan, covered with arbor. In the section immediately to the presbitery have opened two small chapels.
Arcos Fajones: structural element that is part of the barrel vault and serves to reinforce it.
