Pastizales Dam was built in 1964 on the bed of the Arroyo de Valdelarquillo, municipality of Helechosa de los Montes, province of Badajoz, Extremadura, Spain.

Homogeneous loose materials dam with a height from foundations of 13,5 meters and a crest lenght of 230 meters.

The Pastizales Reservoir has a basin of 8 km2 and has a capacity of 0,490 hm3.
