The trail begins north of the urban center of Beires by C/ Molinos (street), next to the Placeta del Barrio Alto (square), a nearby square where there is a source of drinking water and which is accessed by strolling from the church square.

The whole path is up the old road of the Navas and after the first zigzags we can reach the area of La Tejera from where we have unbeatable views of the municipality of Beires and where we can see the typical vegetation of this part of the sierra, resemary, gorse, thyme, as well as the natural regeneration that is occurring in the holm oak forest, later we pass bt the Cerro de los Cocones, and we can observe the Peñón de Ramírez towards the North, in this area the path is crossed by a ditch, currently in disuse, we continue the ascent through an area where the vegetation is much thicker a network of gorse and rosemary, from where we have unbeatable views to the south of Cerro Garvi and Cerro del Pecho del Agua with the Barranco del Zar in th center and Sierra de Gador in the background, up to Loma de la Tejera, at an altitude close to 1700 meters where the path enters a flatter stretch and we can find species egetales such as barberries, hawthorn, broom, lastones, scots pine..

The end of the trail coincides with a point that communicates with the GR-240 better know as Sulayr from where you can access the area of the mines, where we find various buildings in ruins as well as the dumps where you can still find rest of the mineral that was extracted.
