Valdelrey Dam and Reservoir – Charca de Valdelrey
Valdelrey Dam was built in 1870 in the municipality of Alcuescar, province of Caceres, in Extremadura.
Gravity dam with curved plant, with a height from foundations of 14 meters and a crest lenght of 107 meters.
The Valdelrey reservoir has a capacity of 0,7 hm3 and belongs to the Cuenca Hidrográfica del Guadiana (Guadiana River Basin). Its basin covers and area of about 5 km2.
